MakMax Group’s technology is supported by our Technical Research Center (Osaka, Japan), the world’s first ISO/IEC 17025: 2005 certified testing laboratory for membrane structures.  ISO/IEC 17025: 2005 certification ensures reliability of the measurement and test results, for the testing of tensile membrane materials and structures.  Certification of ISO/IEC 17025 includes the requirements for ISO 9001, as well as requirements such as personnel, accommodation and environmental conditions, equipment, measurement traceability, assuring the quality of test results, which results in a very strict accreditation system.

The Technical Research Center is also the driving force behind technological advancement in the tensile membrane industry, for its efforts in the development of new materials and methodology.
The Research & Development team’s work ranges from development of the design software, to environmental evaluation of the completed structure, and as well as development of new materials to meet the request from our clients.
