Advantages of TiO2 Photocatalyst Membrane. Photo:Tokyo Big Sight

3.Effect of Room Temperatures

TiO2 limits the interior temperature rise to approximately 12 degrees Celsius (22.6 degrees Fahrenheit)*. This is substantially less than other membranes, providing a more welcoming interior space while creating energy efficiencies (* - based on testing at a “Self-Max” warehouse with an external temperature of 35 degrees Celsius/95 degrees Fahrenheit).

TiO2 photocatalytic technology significantly improves the solar reflectance properties of the white color membrane, minimizing the rise in temperature within the space.
This results in maximized energy efficiencies (especially with regard to cooling systems), reduced operating costs, energy savings and minimized environmental impact.

TiO2 photocatalyst membrane blocks approximately 98% of harmful UV rays, preventing membrane deterioration and discoloration.

* “Self-Max” is the membrane for tent warehouses.
