Winners of the 2017 International Achievement Awards were announced at the IFAI (Industrial Fabrics Association International) Expo held on September 26-29 in New Orleans, USA.

IFAI (Industrial Fabrics Association International) hosts the International Achievement Awards each year, to promote awareness of specialty fabrics used many products and applications ranging in size and shape. The awards have praised innovation, technical skill, and design excellence for more than 70 years.

The renovation of the fabric atrium structure required a high level of technicality for engineering and supply of an innovative and improved system for an existing structure, which was originally installed over 30 years ago. The material also applied a mixed-use of differing shades of translucency, creating fabric patterns responding to artificial and natural lighting. The team also had to work with the venue’s accessibility as an atrium to a hotel and casino with 24-hour full public access.
